Fenichell’s Bio
Stephen Fenichell is a strategic communications specialist and best-selling business book author. He has successfully advised finance CEOs and marketing and leadership gurus on transforming their business experiences into actionable insights for a wide range of audiences.
For more than five years, he served as Director of Executive Communications at Citigroup, writing speeches, Op-Eds, blog posts and thought leadership content for CEO Mike Corbat and other senior executives, including Chairman John Dugan and CFO Mark Mason.
Before joining Citi, Stephen was a Senior Vice President in the Global Marketing and Communications department at Bank of America, overseeing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communications and providing executive communications support to CEO Brian Moynihan, Chairman Chad Holliday and Chief Global Strategy and Marketing Officer Anne Finucane.
Prior to its merger with Bank of America, Fenichell was Director of Executive Communications at Merrill Lynch, serving as senior speechwriter to CEO Stanley O’Neal, President Gregory Fleming, and other senior executives.
As an independent consultant, he has written numerous keynote and other significant speeches for business leaders and senior executives including GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, GE CMO Beth Comstock, Siemens CEO Peter Loeser, and Estee Lauder Chairman Leonard Lauder.
